Volunteers test fit and sand various parts to make the gun function smoothly. Some of these will be made to work before being placed back on the ship. Mk 14 Gun Sights are being disassembled and restored. Gun part! CIC projects continue as the old and worn finishes are redone. It’s a busy day here in the shop as volunteers and staff continue working on various projects! Work on another 3”/50 cal gun begins! A staff member clean threads on a 5”/51 cal.
